Eurozone unemployment stable at 6.2% in June
Highest unemployment rate seen in Spain with 10.4%, with Malta posting lowest rate with 2.5%

ISTANBUL (AA) - Unemployment in the euro area was 6.2% in June, stable from the previous month's revised figure, Eurostat announced on Thursday.
May's unemployment rate was revised downwards from 6.3% to 6.2%.
On the EU side, the unemployment rate was 5.9% in June, stable compared to May.
Eurostat estimates that 12.97 million persons in the eurozone, including 10.7 million in the EU, were unemployed in June.
Compared to May, unemployment fell by 23,000 in the EU and by 62,000 in the euro area.
In June, 2.85 million young persons – 25 and under – were unemployed in the EU, including 2.24 million in the euro area.
The youth unemployment rate was 14.7% in the EU, stable the previous month, and 14.1% in the euro area, down from 14.3% the previous month.
The highest unemployment rate in June was seen in Spain with 10.4%, with the island country of Malta posting the lowest rate with 2.5%.
The eurozone/euro area, or EA20, represents EU member states that use the EU's single currency, the euro.
