Fintech firm Colendi appoints new finance head

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish fintech startup Colendi appointed Ali Kursad Bostan as its chief financial officer (CFO), according to a statement on Thursday.

Bostan, who has an experience of 15 years in finance, said in the statement: "I am happy to have started working at Colendi, one of the companies that steer financial technologies.

"I believe that the future of finance will be shaped here, and I am very glad for being a part of it."

Colendi develops different services based on scoring algorithms by combining new generation financial technology solutions with artificial intelligence and big data.

Previously, Bostan served as CFO of Multinet Up, another Turkish fintech firm.

He also served as a signatory and board member in Multinet's subsidiaries, including ininal and iPara.

During his stint there, ininal and iPara obtained authorization certificates for electronic money and payment institution.

Bostan also provides consultancy to a wide range of firms, mainly in Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkiye.

He is a member of prestigious groups, such as the International Investors Association (YASED), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Financial Technologies Assembly.
