ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish modular housing company Karmod has completed the fifth phase of its steel-frame residential project in France, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Four new steel homes were completed and delivered in the city of Dijon as part of the ongoing multi-phase housing initiative.

Karmod Prefabricated General Manager Ugur Kadir said the company has strengthened its brand presence in France through a series of projects in closely located areas of Dijon.

“Our steel-frame homes, built with an innovative system that reduces labor needs, are gaining strong interest across Europe,” Kadir said.

“These structures stand out with their high safety standards and efficient construction process, helping us cut both time and labor costs,” he added.

He said the homes are particularly well-suited for insulation applications and easily comply with country-specific energy standards. All units delivered in the latest phase received an A energy rating, with projected annual energy savings of up to €600 per home.

The newly completed homes, each with a 3+1 layout and 105 square meters in size, are a continuation of previous residential developments in the region.

Kadir said all materials were produced at the company’s facilities in Tuzla, Istanbul, and transported by road to France. The installation was carried out by Karmod’s on-site supervisor teams.

“Thanks to the advantages of our steel-frame system, we were able to design bright and spacious interiors. We also implemented underfloor heating systems to enhance residential comfort,” he added.
