Most European stocks end Wednesday with losses

ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock markets closed with losses on Wednesday, barring the UK.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 0.54 point, or 0.13%, to 427.46.

Germany's DAX 30 decreased 69 points, or 0.5%, to end the day at 13,925, while France's CAC 40 fell 40 points, or 0.61%, to finish at 6,510.

Italy's FTSE MIB declined 85 points, or 0.36%, to 23,770 and Spain's IBEX 35 lost 11 points, or 0.14%, to close at 8,258.

The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, climbed 24 points, or 0.32%, to end the session at 7,497.
