Norway’s King Harald V hospitalized in Malaysia with infection
87-year-old king contracted infection while on holiday in Malaysia, announces Norwegian Royal Family

ATHENS (AA) – Norway's King Harald V, age 87, has been hospitalized in Malaysia due to an infection contracted during his vacation, the Norwegian Royal Family announced in a statement on Tuesday.
"His Majesty the King has fallen ill during his holiday in Malaysia and is hospitalized there with an infection," said the statement.
It added: "The king receives good follow-up from both Malaysian and Norwegian medical personnel."
