OpenAI secures $40B in new funding

OpenAI has secured $40 billion in new funding at a post-money valuation of $300 billion, according to a statement from the company on Monday.

The investment will help the company speed up AI research, expand its computing infrastructure, and strengthen the capabilities of its AI tools.

With the funding, OpenAI aims to push the frontiers of artificial intelligence, delivering more powerful solutions to its growing user base. Currently, 500 million people engage with ChatGPT every week.

OpenAI has also announced a new partnership with SoftBank Group, a company renowned for scaling transformative technologies.
