Over 9,700 companies established in Türkiye in July

Firms established up 0.8% year-on-year in July, while it surges 33.5% compared to June

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye saw more than 9,700 newly launched companies in July.

The figure of 9,788 was up 0.8% on a yearly basis, from 9,713 in the same month last year, Türkiye's Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) said on Friday.

The number of liquidated companies in July totaled 3,114, up 7.3% year-on-year.

On a monthly basis, the number of newly established companies in Türkiye surged 33.5% in July from June's 7,330.

In the same period, the number of liquidated companies climbed 48.8% from June's 2,093.

In the January-July period of 2025, the number of newly established firms amounted to 62,014, down 0.6% compared to the same period of 2024.

The number of liquidated companies reached 15,077 in the first seven months of the year, up 9.9% on an annual basis.

In July, 675 companies with foreign partners were established, including 450 with Turkish partners, 22 with German partners, and 19 with partners from Iran.
