Russian, Azerbaijani premiers discuss bilateral trade, economic cooperation

Cooperation in transport, logistics field also discussed, says Russian government

ISTANBUL (AA) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Wednesday discussed bilateral trade and economic cooperation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov during a phone conversation.

“The heads of government reviewed topical issues of Russian-Azerbaijani trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of joint projects, including cooperation in the transport and logistics fields,” a statement by the Russian government read.

The statement added that Mishustin and Asadov discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts between the two governments.
