Survey expects Türkiye to post $3B current account deficit in November 2022
Economists estimate industrial production will decrease 0.5% on monthly basis

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye is likely to post a current account deficit of $3 billion in November 2022, an Anadolu Agency survey projected on Monday.
Estimates from a group of 12 economists ranged between $1.2 billion and $5.2 billion.
The deficit figure was at $359 million in October.
The Turkish Central Bank will release its official balance of payments data on Wednesday.
The current account deficit is likely to be around $46.8 billion at the end of 2022, with the economists’ estimates ranging between $41.8 billion and $49.4 billion.
- Industrial production
Another Anadolu Agency survey expected Türkiye’s industrial production to decrease 0.5% in November on a monthly basis.
Estimates from a group of eight economists ranged between positive 1.2% and minus 2.8%.
Türkiye’s statistical authority will release its industrial production data on Tuesday.
In October, the country’s industrial production was up by 2.4% month-on-month.
