Tatarstan hosts "Modest Fashion Day" as part of Kazan Forum 2025
Collections of 9 designers from Russia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, UAE, Oman and Qatar put on display at fashion show

KAZAN, Tatarstan (AA) - Nine Russian and foreign designers presented their collections at "Modest Fashion Day" event held in Tatarstan’s capital city of Kazan.
The event was organized on the sidelines of the 16th International Economic Summit: "Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2025", to which Anadolu Agency is the global communications partner.
Designers include Margo Avayan (Marga), Khammatova Alfiya and Gulfiya (Minzifa) from Russia, Atiya Khan (Arizai by Atiya) from Pakistan, Danjyo Hiyoji and Michael Simiadi from Indonesia, Umed Kuchkaliev from Tajikistan, Shehna Hussain from the UAE, Amal al Raisi from Oman, Haifa Abdulla and Gills Manjulakshmi (Aadima) from Qatar.
“Modest fashion” refers to a trend in modest clothing due to women's spiritual and stylistic preferences for reasons of faith, religion, or personal beliefs.
Modest fashion presents economic opportunities around the globe for manufacturers, providing an alternative trend for populations of Muslim women and those who prefer modest clothes for various reasons.
