Turkish Central Bank reserves hit $111.2B in August
Reserve assets jumped 9.8% from previous month

ANKARA (AA) – The Turkish Central Bank's official reserves rose to $111.2 billion as of the end of August, according to official data released Thursday.
The reserve assets ticked up 9.8% from the previous month, bank data showed.
Foreign currency reserves – in convertible foreign currencies – surged 18.7% on a monthly basis to $63.7 billion in August.
The bank's gold reserves – including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold-swapped – were flat at $40.2 billion.
In August 2021, the official reserve assets stood at $117.8 billion.
