Turkish Central Bank reserves hit $128.7B in December
Reserve assets rise 5.2% from previous month

ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish Central Bank's official reserves rose to $128.7 billion as of the end of December 2022, according to official data released Thursday.
The reserve assets edged up 5.2% from the previous month, the bank's data showed.
Foreign currency reserves – in convertible foreign currencies – increased 4.8% month-on-month to $75.4 billion in December 2022.
The bank's gold reserves – including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold-swapped – came in at $45.8 billion, a hike of 6.6% in the same period.
In December 2021, the official reserve assets stood at $111.2 billion.
