Turkish medical firm introduces new treatment for lung blood clots

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish medical firm Invamed has developed an innovative treatment called AngioHAND that aims to restore blood flow in patients suffering from pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.

Developed in Invamed’s research and development laboratories and manufactured on the production campus, AngioHAND functions as a special type of catheter to help restore normal blood flow in the body for those suffering from pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.

AngioHAND, also known as a mechanical thrombectomy catheter, is made of a flexible material called nitinol that can bend and return to its original shape.

This flexibility enables it to easily navigate through difficult curves in the body and fit into blood vessels of varying sizes easily. AngioHAND also helps to limit blood loss and quickly removes large clots from bodies.
