Turkish stock exchange flat at Friday's open
BIST 100 index up slightly by 8.42 points at open

ISTANBUL (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 9,815.92 points, rising slightly by 0.09%, or 8.42 points, from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 0.45% to close at 9,807.50 points, with a daily transaction volume of 106 billion liras ($2.91 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 36.4090 as of 9.55 a.m. (0655GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 38.2220, and the GBP/TRY traded at 46.1025.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,930.40, while the price of Brent crude oil was roughly $75.90 per barrel.
