Turkish stock exchange opens Friday in the red
BIST 100 index falls 52.41 points at opening session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 9,758.53 points, down 0.53% or 52.41 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 decreased 0.50%, closing at 9,810.94 points and recording a daily trading volume of 228.1 billion Turkish liras ($6 billion),
As of 9.55 am local time (0655GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate stood at 38.0041, the EUR/TRY rate was 41.2095, and the GBP/TRY rate was 49.1482.
The price of one ounce of gold was $3,035.85, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $72.07.
