Turkish stock exchange up at midweek opening
BIST 100 index gains 18.46 points at opening session on Wednesday

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,140.22 points, rising 0.18% or 18.46 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 1.24% to close at 10,121.77 points, with a daily transaction volume of 110 billion Turkish liras ($3.07 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 35.7645 as of 9.50 am (0650GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 37.3430, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.5585.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,760.40 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $76.30 per barrel.
