Turkish stock exchange up at Tuesday's open
BIST 100 index gains around 35.3 points

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 11,151.76 points, increasing by 0.32% or 35.31 points from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 soared 2% to close at 11,116.45 points, with a daily transaction volume of 135 billion Turkish liras ($3.2 billion).
As of 09.55 am local time (0655GMT), exchange rates stood at 42.4595 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 49.3232 to the euro, and 56.1440 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,213.50, while Brent crude oil was trading at $63.2 per barrel.
