Turkish stocks end Thursday with gains
Benchmark BIST 100 index earns around 63 points

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish benchmark stock index closed the day at 9,338.58 points on Thursday, up 0.68% from its previous close.
After starting the day at 9,579.11, the BIST 100 index earned 63.08 points from Wednesday's close.
The lowest point for the index during the day was 9,338.58, while the daily high was 9,581.24.
On Thursday, 70 indexes gained in value, while 27 closed the day with losses.
The total transaction volume reached 92 billion Turkish liras ($2.42 billion), while the overall value of the index was 8.52 trillion liras ($224.65 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 37.9240 as of 6.25 pm local time (1525GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 42.5410, and the GBP/TRY traded at 49.1490.
The price of gold was $3,164.40 per ounce, while the barrel price of Brent oil was $62.60.
