Turkish stocks up at Thursday's open

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index was up 0.33%, or 31.88 points, to 9,753.97 points at the opening session on Thursday.

The index earned 0.80% to 9,722.09 points at Wednesday's close with a daily transaction volume of 102 billion Turkish liras ($3.14 billion).

The USD/TRY exchange rate was 32.5750 as of 10.25 am (0725GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 34.9950, and the GBP/TRY traded at 40.6910.

The price of one ounce of gold was $2,322.30, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $88.20.
