Türkiye's automotive production at over 105,000 units in January

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's automotive production fell by 3% on a yearly basis to 105,397 units in January, the country's Automotive Manufacturers Association said on Monday.

Car production went up by 1% in the same month to 67,795 units, the association added.

The total vehicle market decreased by 15% to 70,412 units.

The automobile market also decreased by 13% to 55,944 units.

Year-on-year in January, total automotive exports increased by 4% on a quantity and automobile exports increased by 7%.

In this period, total automotive exports amounted to 78,191 units and automobile exports to 47,316 units.

On a value basis, total automotive exports increased by 5% to $2.95 billion, while automobile exports increased by 15% to $866 million.
