Türkiye's BIST 100 closes Tuesday on low note

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 9,807.10 points, a 0.33% increase from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 32.70 points with a daily transaction volume of 102.8 billion liras ($2.86 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,872.74, while Brent crude oil sold for around $76.46 per barrel as of 6.27 p.m. local time (1527GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.9402, the euro/lira exchange rate 37.3125, and the British pound traded at 44.8293 liras.
