Türkiye's BIST 100 ends week in the red

ANKARA (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Friday at 9,877.59 points, falling 0.37% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 37.09 points, extending its gains for the second session.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,927.89, while Brent crude oil sold for around $75.19 per barrel as of 6:15 p.m. local time (1515GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 36.2168, the euro/lira exchange rate was 38.0203, and the British pound traded at 45.6729 liras.
