Türkiye's BIST 100 flat at Thursday close

ANKARA (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 10,112.76 points, a 0.07% slight rise from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 7.39 points with a daily transaction volume of 115.1 billion liras ($3.23billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,750.24, while Brent crude oil sold for around $79.40 per barrel as of 6.32 p.m. local time (1532GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.6422, the euro/lira exchange rate 37.1291, and the British pound traded at 43.8990 liras.
