Türkiye's BIST 100 flat at Thursday close

ANKARA (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 10,082.10 points, a 0.05% slight rise from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 5.11 points with a daily transaction volume of 89 billion liras ($2.49 billion).

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,838.84, while Brent crude oil sold for around $76.14 per barrel as of 6.16 p.m. local time (1516GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.7722, the euro/lira exchange rate 37.4060, and the British pound traded at 44.5945 liras.
