Türkiye's BIST 100 index ends week up 0.46%

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended week at 10,275.75 points on Friday, up 0.46%.

Starting the day at 10,248.11 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 47.36 points from Thursday's close.

The lowest value was 10,188.74, while the daily high was 10,314.29.

The market value of the BIST 100 was around 9.43 trillion Turkish liras ($237.7 billion), with a trading volume of 85 billion Turkish liras ($2.14 billion).

Some 57 stocks on the index rose and 40 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $3,333.20 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $67.80 per barrel as of 6.50 p.m. local time (1550GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 39.8475, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 47.0095, while the British pound traded for 54.4300 Turkish liras.
