Türkiye's Borsa Istanbul flat at open

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the week at 3,247.73 points on Thursday, slightly up 0.06% or 1.97 points from the previous close.

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 18.3583 as of 07.53 a.m. local time (0653GMT), versus 18.3250 at the previous close.

The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate decreased to 18.0903 from 18.1380 , while a British pound traded for 20.6930 Turkish liras, down from 20.8280.

Brent crude oil was selling for around $89.73 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was at $1,658.78.
