Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul up at Tuesday's close

ANKARA (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended Tuesday at 2,011.35 points, up 0.7% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,987 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 14.02 points from Monday's close of 1,997.33 points.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,054 by market close, up 2.8% from the previous close.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $130.5 per barrel with a 5.9% gain as of 6.55 p.m. local time (1555GMT).
