Country's net international investment position at minus $294.7B last December

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's external assets came in at $366.2 billion in December, up 1.2% from the previous quarter, the Turkish Central Bank said on Thursday.
The country's liabilities, on the other hand, dropped 1.3% over the same period to $660.9 billion, the bank said.
The net international investment position, assets minus liabilities, came in at minus $294.7 billion in December.
Portfolio assets totaled $4 billion, down 6.9% from the previous quarter.
Direct investments were at $71.2 billion, up 3.5%, and other investments totaled $135.9 billion, losing 0.6%.
