Türkiye's stock market hits new all-time high at Thursday close
BIST 100 index gains 38.86 points from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index rallied to a new all-time high of 2,868.44 points at Thursday's close, up 1.37% on a daily basis.
After starting the day at 2,860.53. points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 38.86 points from Wednesday's record-high close of 2,829.58 points.
During the day, the index's lowest value was 2,834.61, while its daily high was 2,877.60.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 2.3 trillion Turkish liras ($127.1 billion) by close, with a daily trading volume of 42.2 billion liras ($3.2 billion).
One ounce of gold traded at $1,801.00 by market close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $98.77 per barrel as of 18.27 p.m. local time (1527GMT), down 1.41% on a daily basis.
