US dollar at 2-week low

ISTANBUL (AA) - At the start of a new US presidential term, the US dollar has reached its weakest level in the last two weeks against major currencies.

The US dollar/ euro exchange rate is at 0.9587 as of 0930GMT while the US dollar index is at 107.77.

The USD/GBP exchange rate is at 0.8113 and the US dollar/Canadian dollar exchange rate is at 1.4330.

Markets see potential trade developments as unclear as uncertainties continue over President Donald Trump's plans for tariffs, especially on China, Mexico, and Canada.
