ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish building company Karmod said it started its fourth steel housing project in the coastal Bulgarian city of Burgas.

Ugur Kadir, general manager at Karmod Prefabrik, said in a statement that some six units of two-story, 143-square-meter steel construction houses will be built in Burgas.

He said these steel houses are attracting European customers due to their labor-efficient nature, structural safety, and insulation applications.

Kadir said the steel carrier system takes up less space in these houses, allowing for more spacious rooms.

He noted that the company reached its initial target for European countries, and Karmod’s projects in the region are prepared according to the standard housing practices and specific demands for each country.

Karmod has carried out steel housing projects in some 12 European countries so far, including Germany, France, the UK, Spain, and Portugal.

“The installation of our new projects in Bulgaria and France is still underway, and we completed our housing projects in the initially targeted countries, and now we aim to reach new European countries,” he added.
